Earthwork
Tallqvist’s versatile fleet, ranging from 1.5-tonne mini diggers to heavy 110-tonne machines, are suitable for requirements of all kinds. Ab Tallqvist Oy has invested in competent staff, training and the latest state-of-the-art equipment.
Building of industrial and business facilities
Over the years, Tallqvist has completed in Finland’s neighbouring regions industrial buildings, conversion, expansion and renovation work as well as machine foundations for heavy equipment.
Construction of green and sporting areas
We construct, among other things, football fields, sports grounds and golf courses throughout Finland and abroad. We also construct parks and cemeteries and carry out stonework.
Environmental Construction
We have experience in the stringent requirements of environmental construction and are ready to meet new challenges. Tallqvist has implemented demanding soil renovation projects in various parts of Finland, established new and decommissioned old landfill sites and constructed, among other things, containment areas for industry.
Hydraulic engineering and port construction
Hydraulic engineering and port construction is a special area of infrastructure construction, which requires solid expertise and special equipment tailored to the task. We have both. Our most memorable special project is the covered AW terminal in the Port of Kokkola. Kokkola’s AWT is unique in the Nordic countries - there are fewer than 10 of them in the world.
Transport and repair services
Harry and Ingvald Tallqvist began a truck business back in 1952. The repair business has developed from the need to keep the wheels of the company’s own fleet running. Over the decades we have accumulated such robust experience in the maintenance of heavy-duty equipment that we gladly place our expertise at the disposal of our customers too.
