The construction of the Vuoto substation for Fingrid has commenced in summer 2025. The project is part of the nationwide development and reinforcement of Finland’s electricity transmission network, aimed at ensuring sufficient capacity and reliability of power transmission well into the future.
The construction contract includes building access roads within the substation area, earthworks, construction of the control building, installation of the grounding system, and erection of fences and gates around the site. The project is expected to be completed in spring 2026.
With over 60 years of experience in civil engineering, Tallqvist is responsible for delivering the project. The site emphasizes safe working practices, high-quality execution, and smooth collaboration between all parties involved.
